We are not a casino, sportsbook, or payment processor, and this site does not require an account, a deposit, or any payment to read. This policy describes our data practices in plain language rather than dense legal boilerplate, and it applies to every page on this domain.

Information we collect
We collect very little directly. There is no login, no user account, and no form on this site that asks for your name, address, or financial information. The information we do receive falls into two categories.

This is used for basic security and to understand traffic patterns, not to identify you personally.
Analytics Data
Second, analytics data collected through cookies and similar technologies, covering things like which pages get read, how long a visit lasts, and which device or browser type was used. This helps us see which guides are useful and which need revision, and it is reported to us in aggregate rather than tied to your name or email.
Cookies and analytics
Cookies are small text files a site can store in your browser. We use them for basic analytics and, occasionally, to remember a display preference between visits. We don't keep a permanent, personally identifiable record of individual visits, largely because we never collect enough information to build one.
Your choices, including California residents
You can browse this entire site without providing any personal information, and most privacy choices here come down to your own browser and device settings: blocking cookies, using a privacy-focused browser mode, or installing a tracker blocker will all reduce what analytics data we receive.
California Residents (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and its amendments give you specific rights regarding personal information, including the right to know what categories of information a business has collected about you, the right to request deletion, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information as defined under the CCPA. If you'd like to exercise any right under the CCPA, or you simply want to know what limited data we hold that could relate to you, email [email protected] and we will respond within the timeframe the law requires.
Other State Residents
Residents of other states with similar privacy laws are welcome to make the same kind of request through the same email address. We would rather handle a request directly and quickly than make you dig through a long-form legal process for a site that collects this little to begin with.
Children's privacy
This site discusses gambling law and is intended for adults. It is not directed at children, we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13, and content across the site assumes a reader old enough to be evaluating gambling products for themselves, whether that's the 18-plus threshold typical of sweepstakes platforms or the 21-plus threshold for real-money casino play.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices, tools, or applicable law change. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes, meaning anything that meaningfully alters how we collect or use information, will be reflected in an updated version of this page rather than communicated only through a footnote.
